Job summary

Allegiance Industries, Inc. is seeking a 2nd Shift Floor Technician to maintain clean, safe facilities in an education-focused environment. Responsibilities include carpet steam-cleaning, floor stripping, waxing, sealing, buffing, deep cleaning, and trash removal.

Candidates should be reliable, with physical stamina and the ability to follow schedules and supervisor directions. On-the-job training is provided, with opportunities for long-term growth and a stable stepping stone to your next level

Qualifications

• Prior floor care experience is required.
• Candidate must have physical stamina and dexterity.
• Ability to detect safety hazards and communicate with staff.
• Reliable transportation to and from work.
• Ability to follow schedules and keep commitments.
• Ability to follow directions from a supervisor.
• Demonstrates professionalism in a team setting.

Responsibilities

• Steam-clean carpets
• Strip floors using proper machinery
• Apply wax to coat floors and buff
• Apply sealant to floors
• Deep clean painted floors using appropriate chemicals
• Clean buildings by sweeping, mopping, vacuuming floors and surfaces
• Gather and empty trash
• Move heavy equipment and furniture
• Other duties as assigned

Shift: Monday - Friday (3:30 PM - 11:30 PM)
