Job summary

Allegiance-Industries is hiring a 2nd Shift Floor Tech to perform carpet steam-cleaning, floor stripping, waxing, sealing, and deep cleaning of floors at an educational facility. The role requires physical stamina and a focus on safety, with on-the-job training provided.

The candidate should be able to move heavy equipment, follow schedules, and maintain professionalism, with a reliable means of transportation to support a consistent evening shift from 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM, Monday through Friday.

Qualifications

• Prior floor care experience.
• Physical stamina and dexterity.
• Ability to detect safety hazards and communicate with appropriate staff.
• Reliable transportation.
• Ability to follow schedules and keep commitments.
• Ability to follow directions from a supervisor.

Responsibilities

• Steam-clean carpets and floors.
• Strip floors using proper machinery.
• Apply wax to coat floors and buff.
• Apply sealant to floors and deep-clean painted floors.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and clean other surfaces; empty trash.
