Responsibilities

• Operates machines or works in work centers with supervision.
• Safety is a top priority while performing any part of the job.
• Reads job specifications to determine machine adjustments and material requirements.
• Frequently moving between work centers to assist in one- or two-man operations.
• Observes machine operation to detect defects or malfunctions.
• Measures workpiece dimensions to ensure accuracy.
• Removes burrs, sharp edges, rust, or scale from workpieces.
• Stacks, marks, packs, and transports finished workpieces.
• Uses barcode system to reflect time charged to jobs.
