Job summary

You will read blueprints, measure parts, and ensure quality while following safety protocols in a fast-paced environment. The role requires the ability to operate multiple fabrication machines, lift up to 50 pounds, and work across several work centers with occasional stand-up and bending.

Qualifications

• Reads job specifications to determine machine adjustments and material requirements.
• Experience using blue prints and tape measures highly recommended.
• Able to operate multiple fabrication machines and work centers as needed.
• Safety-focused and able to follow written and verbal instructions.

Responsibilities

• Operate machines and work centers with supervision while ensuring safety.
• Read blueprints and verify material requirements for jobs.
• Observe machine operation and detect defects or malfunctions.
• Measure workpieces to ensure dimensional accuracy.
• Stack, pack and transport finished pieces to next work center.
