Job summary

PPOAR in Washington is seeking a skilled Metal Fabricator to join our team. You will read blueprints, set up metalworking machines, and fabricate or repair metal components to spec. This is a full-time position with a salary of $1,500 per month.

You will cut, bend, weld, and inspect parts, ensuring quality and on-time delivery. Applicants should have at least a high school diploma and 2 years’ metal fabrication experience; trade certification is a plus, and you must work well both independently

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; trade school welding/metalworking preferred.
• At least 2 years of metal fabrication experience.
• Ability to read blueprints and interpret drawings.
• Strong attention to detail and precision.
• Works well both independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Read blueprints and technical drawings to determine project requirements.
• Set up and operate metalworking machines.
• Cut, shape, bend, and weld metal pieces using various tools and techniques.
• Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy.
• Repair or modify existing metal products as needed.
• Collaborate with team to meet deadlines.
