Responsibilities

• Collaborate with ground crew to coordinate excavation activities.
• Operate excavator following signals, stakes, and markings to meet specifications.
• Excavate trenches to required depth and grade.
• Maintain production schedule while minimizing downtime.
• Monitor soil conditions and adjust operations as needed.
• Adhere to OH&S safety regulations and wear PPE.
• Set up and maintain traffic control aids and erosion control measures.
• Load/unload materials using the excavator as required.
• Keep the site clean and report equipment issues promptly.
