Job summary

DH Pace Company, Inc. is seeking an Experienced Entry Door Technician based in Cedar Rapids, IA to install and service a wide range of commercial doors and hardware, including dock and rolling doors. You will join a team that values autonomy, safety, and high workmanship.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience in a mechanical role is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 100 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Install or repair a wide range of commercial doors and hardware, including dock and rolling doors.
• Identify opportunities to offer customers products and services.
• Operate safely at all times while performing duties.
• Other duties as assigned.

Job Responsibilities:

• Install and/or repair a wide range of commercial door and door hardware including roll up doors also known as dock doors, dock equipment, high speed rolling doors and commercial entry doors
• Identify opportunities to provide customers with products and services
• Operate in safety conscious manner at all times while performing job duties
• Other duties as assigned

Job Qualifications:

• High School Diploma/GED (Preferred)
• Experience in a similar role or one that required a mechanical aptitude preferred
• Ability to safely lift up to 100 pounds
• Ability to work at heights and use a ladder
• Must possess valid driver’s license and good driving record
