Design Electric is hiring an experienced Electrician to join our commercial and industrial team. This is a hands‑on position for someone who can safely complete electrical installations, read drawings, solve problems, and work productively with limited supervision. Experience Required

This position requires at least four years of verifiable, hands‑on commercial and/or industrial electrical experience.

This is not an entry‑level or beginning apprentice position. Applicants must be able to demonstrate experience performing electrical work.

What You Will Do

As an Electrician at Design, you will work alongside a Superintendent, Foreman, or Leadman to safely and efficiently complete commercial and industrial projects.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Installing, maintaining, testing, and repairing commercial and industrial electrical systems
• Bending and installing conduit
• Pulling, routing, and terminating wire and cable
• Installing electrical equipment, devices, fixtures, and related components
• Reading and working from blueprints, drawings, and project specifications
• Identifying and troubleshooting electrical issues
• Completing work in accordance with the National Electrical Code, project requirements, and company safety standards
• Planning your work and using materials responsibly
• Maintaining a safe, organized, and productive work area
• Communicating professionally with supervisors, coworkers, and other trades
• Supporting and mentoring less‑experienced team members when needed

What We Are Looking For

Qualified candidates should have:

• At least four years of verifiable commercial and/or industrial electrical experience
• Experience bending conduit, pulling wire, making terminations, and installing electrical systems
• The ability to read prints, drawings, and specifications
• A solid understanding of electrical codes and safe work practices
• The ability to complete assigned work with limited supervision
• Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills
• Dependable attendance and professional communication
• A collaborative attitude and pride in the electrical trade
• Authorization to work in the United States

A current Journeyman Electrician license is preferred but not required.
