Sharp HealthCare’s Emergency Department seeks a seasoned ED RN at the CN II level to deliver patient-centered, high-quality care. You will function autonomously within an interdisciplinary team, coordinating care, leading triage and education, and ensuring patient safety in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements include CA RN license, BSN or RN with ED experience, and ACLS/PALS/NIBS certifications; a BLS. The role covers shift from 7 PM to 7:30 AM with a 12-hour schedule and a weekend every

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in nursing or Associate's degree with ED RN experience.
• CA RN license required; ACLS, NIHSS, PALS and BLS certifications required.
• CEN or equivalent certification preferred; NVCI within 90 days.

Responsabilités

• Provide high-quality, patient-centered care in a fast-paced ED.
• Coordinate interprofessional team and act as patient advocate.
• Document care measures and interventions in EMR accurately.
• Mentor new graduates and students; participate in professional development.
• Triage, leadership as charge nurse/MICN as needed; ensure safety and compliance.

Formation

Bachelor's Degree in Nursing

Associate's Degree in Nursing with 5 years experience as RN in ED in lieu of BSN

California Registered Nurse (RN) - CA Board of Registered Nursing

ACLS Certification (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)

NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)

Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)

AHA Basic Life Support for Healthcare Professional (BLS Healthcare)

Certified Emergency Nurse (CEN) or equivalent (preferred)

NVCI certification (or equivalent)
