Job summary

At Peace Healthcare Agency is seeking experienced Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to provide compassionate, person-centered support to individuals with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD) in their homes and communities.

As a DSP, you’ll build meaningful relationships, encourage independence, and help people reach their personal goals, with flexible scheduling, a supportive team, and opportunities to grow in the IDD field.

Qualifications

• Previous DSP or direct-care experience required.
• Compassionate and dependable caregiver who inspires independence.
• Able to communicate effectively with individuals, families, and team members.
• Willing to follow ISPs and BSPs and maintain privacy.
• Reliable transportation and valid drivers license.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on support with daily living activities, personal care, mobility, and companionship
• Encourage independence, self-advocacy, and personal growth
• Support individuals with ASD and other IDD
• Follow ISPs and BSPs
• Encourage socialization, community participation
• Accompany to appointments and activities
• Maintain privacy and HIPAA confidentiality
• Complete accurate daily documentation and progress notes
