DIRECT SUPPORT PROFESSIONAL (DSP)
At Peace Healthcare Agency is looking for experienced Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to provide compassionate, person-centered support to individuals with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD) in their homes and communities.

WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Provide hands-on support with daily living activities, personal care, mobility, and companionship.
- Encourage independence, self-advocacy, and personal growth.
- Support individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and other intellectual and developmental disabilities.
- Follow Individualized Service Plans (ISPs) and Behavioral Support Plans (BSPs).
- Encourage socialization, community participation, and meaningful activities.
- Accompany individuals to medical appointments, therapy sessions, work, and community activities.
- Promote a safe, respectful, and person-centered environment.
- Complete accurate daily documentation, progress notes, and goal tracking.
- Protect individual privacy and maintain HIPAA confidentiality.
- Provide reliable transportation when required.

- Experienced – Previous DSP Or Direct-care Experience Required.

- Hands-On & Supportive – Comfortable assisting with personal care and mobility needs.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE
- Experience supporting individuals with behavioral needs.
- Experience implementing Behavioral Support Plans (BSPs).
- Experience working with individuals with Autism and/or other developmental disabilities.
- Knowledge of person-centered care and individual rights.
REQUIREMENTS
- Previous DSP experience required.
- Valid driver's license.
- Reliable personal transportation.
- Ability to pass required background checks and screenings.
- Ability to work independently and responsibly.
- Ability to assist with mobility and personal care as needed.
