Diagnose, document, and repair engine, transmission, and major component fault codes using company-supplied laptops and OEM software while following proper warranty procedures.
Perform troubleshooting, service, and repair on all components as well as preventative maintenance and reconditioning.
Demonstrate well-developed technical and troubleshooting skills with effective problem-solving abilities.
Attend OEM and dealer training online as well as in-person when required.
5+ years of experience as a diesel technician fleet mechanic, heavy equipment mechanic, or equivalent.
Advanced diagnostic and troubleshooting skills with the ability to independently diagnose and repair engine, aftertreatment, electrical, drivability, transmission, and chassis systems.
Experience using OEM diagnostic software and electronic troubleshooting tools.
Formal diesel training and OEM certifications are preferred.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate with co-workers and drivers, demonstrating teamwork skills.
Ability to manage multiple functions simultaneously in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
Participation in Continuous Improvement Initiatives and the DTNA Elite Support Program.
Competitive compensation: $40,000 – $100,000 annually
