Job summary

Excel Truck Group in Statesville, NC is seeking experienced Diesel Mechanics to join our team. You will work on Freightliner and other major trucks, with industry-leading pay and comprehensive training.

Qualified candidates have hands-on diesel truck technician experience; certifications are a plus and can lead to higher wages. Completion of a diesel technician program is preferred. We offer a strong benefits package and opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• Experience as a diesel truck technician.
• Certifications are a plus and can increase wages.
• Experience with Freightliner, Mack, Sterling, Caterpillar, Detroit Diesel, and/or Cummins ideal but not required.
• Completion of a diesel technician school and certification desired.

Responsibilities

• Performs scheduled maintenance.
• Ideally certified to perform State Inspections and CDL.
• Prepares shop work orders on equipment repair.
• Computer experience required.
• Cleans shop and surrounding work areas.
• Promotes cooperation and teamwork.
• Willing to train and maintain certifications for ongoing technician training.
• Able to embrace our Elite Support & Safety Culture.
• Must have your own tools.

If you have experience as a diesel truck technician, we want to hear from you. Certifications are a plus and can earn you an increase in wages.
