Rihm Family Companies in Red Wing, MN is seeking an experienced Diesel Technician to diagnose, repair, and document engine and chassis issues on Kenworth and other trucks. The role involves performing engine and chassis repairs, troubleshooting, and writing detailed service records.

You will follow safety procedures, use checklists, and coordinate with warranty teams to maximize efficiency while maintaining a clean, organized workspace and meeting production objectives.

Qualifications

• Experience in heavy duty and medium truck repair with strong mechanical, analytical, and reasoning skills.

Responsibilities

• Provides technical services to vehicles and equipment.
• Reads job orders and observes vehicles to resolve malfunctions and plan work procedures.
• Follows checklists to ensure all critical parts are examined.
• Coordinates with warranty administrators to maximize profit, including warranty parts tagging for return.
• Adheres to manufacturer policies and procedures for labor operations and documentation.
• Maintains organized workspaces and ensures safety procedures are followed.
• Completes all work and test drives vehicles to verify issues are fixed.
• Participates in technical training as assigned by management.
