Job description

Join our team as a Diesel Mechanic and enjoy great pay and benefits while working in a dynamic and supportive environment. In this role, you will diagnose, repair, and maintain diesel trucks and their related equipment, ensuring the highest level of performance and reliability.

*After treatment and diagnostic experience is a plus

Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and other failures in trucks and related equipment
  • Disassemble, repair, and reassemble truck engines, transmissions, carrier assemblies, clutches, brakes, and electrical systems
  • Use precision instruments and shop machines to perform repairs
  • Read and understand technical publications and software, including service manuals and bulletins
  • Order necessary parts for repairs and maintain accurate records of work performed
  • Adhere to safety regulations and company policies
  • Provide excellent customer service and maintain a professional demeanor
Qualifications
  • CDL Class A or Class B preferred but not required
  • Experience with DEF/after-treatment systems on Cummins & Detroit equipment
  • Full understanding of all DOT, Federal & State laws regarding maintenance/repairs
  • Proficient in reading and writing in English
  • Ability to operate computer diagnostic devices, PCs, and laptops
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a positive attitude
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently
Compensation

Pay: $35-40/hour based on experience

Benefits
  • Health, dental, and vision insurance - first of the month after 30 days
  • 1st year - Sick pay accrual as well as 8 paid holidays
  • Paid vacation after 1-year anniversary
  • Optional 401K, disability, and life insurance

Must be able to pass a background check.

Shift: Mon-Fri 1-10pm (Saturday rotation)
