Experienced Diesel Mechanic

Location: 2343 South 5370 West, West Valley, UT 84120

Pay: $26 - $32 hourly

Shift: Monday - Friday, 7:00 am - 3:30 pm

Requirements

• Valid Drivers License
• Comprehensive Background Check
• Pre-employment Hair Follicle drug screening
• Minimum experience 3+ years in heavy duty diesel mechanic

Job Responsibilities

Complete quality preventative maintenance inspections and repairs on all company-owned equipment, including tractors, trailers, refrigerated units, and support equipment.

• Perform preventative maintenance according to OEM, DOT, Swift, etc., specifications
• Inspect, analyze, troubleshoot, diagnose, and perform repairs
• Disassemble, repair, and reassemble heavy truck and trailer components
• Perform tire maintenance, including repairs, failure analysis, coding, and identification
