This position is a full-time, mid-senior level role within the management and manufacturing job functions in the construction industry.

Job Overview:

As a Diesel Mechanic - Experienced (Service Tech IV), you will perform maintenance and repairs on complex equipment with minimal supervision, ensuring safety and professionalism. You will also have opportunities for career growth into leadership roles within our Service Department, while providing exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and diesel systems on rental and customer equipment, using independent judgment.
• Travel to customer sites for equipment repairs and maintenance as needed, maintaining a clean and professional service vehicle.
• Assist in training lower-level technicians.
• Document work performed accurately and timely.
• Assist with equipment and parts pickup and delivery.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements:

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
• At least 5 years of experience in equipment repair and maintenance.
• Advanced mechanical skills and knowledge of tools.
• Extensive knowledge of construction equipment, schematics, and diagrams.
• Owns tools applicable to the position.
• Excellent customer service, teamwork, and communication skills.
• Ability to lift items up to 45 lbs frequently.
