Qualifications

• Certified dental assistant with at least 2 years of experience.
• Experience in prosthodontics or implants is a plus.
• X-ray certification and DC license or ability to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Assist with implant surgeries and restore implants.
• Fabricate temporary crowns and bridges.
• Understand the prosthodontic workflow.
• Travel between McLean, VA and NW Washington, DC with the doctor.
• Operate digital scanners and CBCT equipment.

Excellent opportunity for the right candidate. We have expanded our office.

Drs. Kaihara, Watkins and Wang of Smiles International are seeking a full time certified dental assistant. Our assistant has moved out of the area. We are a prosthodontic practice with two locations in McLean, VA and NW Washington, DC approximately 2 blocks from Foggy Bottom Metro and GW University. The dental assistants are required to work in both locations. We are searching for a dental assistant that is highly motivated, likes to be challenged and loves to improve their skills daily. We provide a great working environment that is clean, fresh and stimulating. We are a fee for service practice and value our employees. Most of our employees have been working with us for 10 or more years! Our assistants travel to each office with their doctor.

We are seeking a full time assistant with preferably 2 years experience. Prosthodontic or surgical experience with implants is a plus.

• Experience with the fabrication of custom temporary crowns and bridges
• Be able to assist with implant surgeries and restoring the implants
• Understand the prosthodontic work flow
• Ability to use a digital scanner/ CBCT
• Reliable transportation and being punctual a must.
• We value a strong communicator, self-starter, motivated, efficient and solution-oriented individual
• Familiar with Denticon software helpful
• X-ray certification
• DC dental assistants license or ability to obtain one

Hours: Monday to Thursday 7:15am - 4:45pm and Fridays 7:15am - 1:45pm.
