Job summary

PDS Health in Tempe, AZ is seeking a Dental Assistant to join a team dedicated to clinical excellence and patient care. You will support the dentist, maintain a clean and cheerful office, and help create a positive patient experience.

Qualifications

• Experience assisting dentists and supporting patient care.
• Ability to maintain a clean, sterile environment per guidelines.
• Familiarity with radiographs (x-rays) and intra-oral photography where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Assist the dentist to gain patient commitment for the best possible treatment.
• Maintain a clean, sterile environment and assist with x-rays and intra-oral pictures as appropriate.
• Sterilize and disinfect instruments and operatories in accordance with ADA and regulatory guidelines.

The Opportunity

As both a patient and clinician advocate, you are a fundamental part of the Perfect Patient Experience®.

As a Dental Assistant, you will be responsible for:

• Assisting the dentist as necessary to gain the patient’s commitment for the best possible treatment with urgency.
• You will also maintain a clean, sterile, and cheerful environment where your patients feel comfortable and at the direction of the dentist, complete x-rays and intra-oral pictures of patients as appropriate.
• Sterilizing and disinfecting instruments, equipment, and operatories in accordance with the American Dental Association guidelines while maintaining strict compliance with State, Federal, and other regulations, (e.g., OSHA, WC, Dental Board, HIPAA, ADA, DOL, HR policies and practices)

Compensation Information

$18.00-$25.25 / Hourly
