Dentists of Paradise Valley invites a dedicated Dental Assistant to join our team in Phoenix, AZ. You will assist the dentist, help secure patient commitment for optimal treatment, and contribute to a welcoming, efficient practice.

You will work with advanced dental technology, perform x-rays and intra-oral imaging, and uphold strict sterilization and safety standards to serve our local community.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Dental Assistant is valued.
• Ability to take and process x-rays and intra-oral pictures.
• Maintain a clean, sterile, and cheerful clinical environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist the dentist to gain patient commitment for the best treatment with urgency.
• Maintain a clean, sterile, and cheerful environment and perform x-rays and intra-oral pictures as appropriate.
• Sterilize and disinfect instruments and operatory according to ADA guidelines and state/federal regulations.

The Opportunity

As both a patient and clinician advocate, you are a fundamental part of the Perfect Patient Experience®. As a Dental Assistant, you will be responsible for:

• Assisting the dentist as necessary to gain the patient’s commitment for the best possible treatment with urgency.
• You will also maintain a clean, sterile, and cheerful environment where your patients feel comfortable and at the direction of the dentist, complete x-rays and intra-oral pictures of patients as appropriate.
• Sterilizing and disinfecting instruments, equipment, and operatories in accordance with the American Dental Association guidelines while maintaining strict compliance with State, Federal, and other regulations, (e.g., OSHA, WC, Dental Board, HIPAA, ADA, DOL, HR policies and practices)
