Flagstaff Modern Dentistry is seeking a diligent Dental Assistant to join a team dedicated to clinical excellence and patient care in Flagstaff, AZ. You will support the dentist, help obtain patient commitment for treatment, and maintain a clean, sterile environment with proper radiographs as needed.

The role emphasizes infection control, OSHA and ADA guidelines compliance, and a collaborative team culture with opportunities to learn from experienced professionals.

Qualifications

• Assist the dentist to gain the patient’s commitment for the best possible treatment with urgency.
• Maintain a clean, sterile, and cheerful environment where patients feel comfortable.
• Ensure instruments and operatories are sterilized and disinfected according to ADA guidelines and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assisting the dentist as necessary to gain the patient’s commitment for the best possible treatment with urgency.
• You will also maintain a clean, sterile, and cheerful environment where your patients feel comfortable and at the direction of the dentist, complete x-rays and intra-oral pictures of patients as appropriate.
• Sterilizing and disinfecting instruments, equipment, and operatories in accordance with the American Dental Association guidelines while maintaining strict compliance with State, Federal, and other regulations, (e.g., OSHA, WC, Dental Board, HIPAA, ADA, DOL, HR policies and practices)
