Job summary

PDS Health is seeking a Dental Assistant to join Aspen Hill Modern Dentistry in Silver Spring, MD. You will learn from experienced professionals and advance your career in a modern practice that prioritizes patient comfort and clinical excellence.

You will assist the dentist, maintain a sterile environment, perform x-rays and intra-oral pictures, and help deliver the Perfect Patient Experience. Competitive pay, CE units, PTO, tuition reimbursement, and 401K support your growth and community

Qualifications

• Experience as a dental assistant is preferred.
• Ability to maintain a clean, sterile environment and support clinical operations.

Responsibilities

• Assist the dentist as necessary to gain the patient’s commitment for the best possible treatment with urgency.
• Maintain a clean, sterile, and cheerful environment; complete x-rays and intra-oral pictures as appropriate.
• Sterilize and disinfect instruments, equipment, and operatories per ADA/OSHA guidelines and state/federal regulations.

• Assisting the dentist as necessary to gain the patient’s commitment for the best possible treatment with urgency.
• You will also maintain a clean, sterile, and cheerful environment where your patients feel comfortable and at the direction of the dentist, complete x-rays and intra-oral pictures of patients as appropriate.
• Sterilizing and disinfecting instruments, equipment, and operatories in accordance with the American Dental Association guidelines while maintaining strict compliance with State, Federal, and other regulations, (e.g., OSHA, WC, Dental Board, HIPAA, ADA, DOL, HR policies and practices)

Compensation Information

$19.75-$27.75 / Hourly
