Job summary

Griffith Family Dental in Sunnyvale, CA is seeking a dependable dental assistant to join our growing team on a part-time basis. The ideal candidate will assist the dentist, prepare rooms, take radiographs, maintain infection control, and provide compassionate patient care with professionalism.

Requirements include 2+ years chairside experience, California Infection Control and Radiation Safety certificates, CPR/BLS, and excellent communication. We offer PTO, allowances, and growth opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Prepare treatment rooms before and after patient appointments.
• Assist the dentist during a variety of dental procedures.
• Take diagnostic dental radiographs.
• Maintain strict infection prevention and sterilization protocols.
• Prepare instruments, materials, and equipment for procedures.
• Update and maintain accurate patient records and charting.
• Educate patients on post-operative instructions and oral hygiene.
• Monitor inventory and notify the office when supplies need replenishment.
• Maintain infection control standards.
• Ensure operatories remain clean, organized, and fully stocked.
• Provide exceptional customer service while creating a welcoming patient experience.
• Collaborate effectively with the clinical and administrative team.

Position Summary

We are seeking a dependable, compassionate, and detail-oriented Dental Assistant to join our growing dental team. The ideal candidate is committed to providing outstanding patient care, maintaining a safe clinical environment, and supporting the doctor and clinical team with efficiency and professionalism.

Employment Details

• Position: Part-Time, W-2 Employee
• Compensation: $30.00–$38.00 per hour, based on experience and qualifications
• Required Work Days: Monday to Thursday (8:15am -5:15pm; 1-hour lunch break); Friday (8:15am -3:30pm; 30 mintues lunch break)
• Probationary Period: 90 days
