Job summary

SteelAxis is seeking a Crane Operator to operate various cranes to lift, move and position heavy loads in construction and manufacturing settings. You will inspect equipment, enforce safety protocols, and coordinate with a team to ensure precise movements.

Requirements include a valid biometric passport and at least 2 years of crane operating experience, with the ability to read blueprints and follow instructions.

Qualifications

• Valid biometric passport.
• Minimum of 2 years crane operating experience.
• Ability to read blueprints and follow instructions.
• Excellent hand-eye coordination.
• Physical strength to operate controls for extended periods.
• Ability to work well under pressure.
• Fluent in English preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate various types of cranes safely and efficiently
• Inspect equipment before use to ensure it is in proper working condition
• Follow safety protocols at all times while operating the crane
• Communicate with other workers using hand signals or radios to coordinate movements
• Lift move and position heavy loads according to instructions given by supervisors
• Keep track of materials lifted and moved for recordkeeping purposes
• Perform routine maintenance on the crane as needed
• Report any malfunctions or safety concerns immediately to supervisors
