Job summary

Bridges of America is seeking an experienced Counselor to join our clinical team at the Orlando CRC/TC location in Orlando, FL. The role requires a Bachelor's degree in a related field and at least two years of professional experience in chemical addictions, substance abuse, or mental health counseling.

You will follow company policies, complete required documentation, and facilitate Phase I–III groups. The position may involve working multiple shifts and emergency counseling as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Social Sciences from an accredited college/university (Psychology, Sociology, Political Science, Anthropology, Economics, American Ethnic Studies or Criminal Justice Criminology).
• Two years of professional experience in chemical addictions, substance abuse, and/or mental health counseling.
• Education and experience may be substituted for each other on a year-to-year basis as deemed necessary.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to all applicable policies and procedures within the scope of the job description.
• Complete and maintain required clinical documentation per policy and counselor handbook.
• Facilitate Phase I, II, and III groups per program manuals and policy.
• Perform case management on each client as necessary.
• Be available for emergency counseling sessions and to work all shifts as required by contract.
