Job summary

Bridges of America in Orlando is seeking a Counselor to support re-entry programs at the CRC/TC location. You will conduct groups, document care, and manage client cases per handbook and policies.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s in Social Sciences with 2+ years in chemical addictions, substance abuse, or mental health counseling, or a non-social science degree with 3+ years of relevant experience. Flexible shifts and training opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Social Sciences + 2 years of professional experience in chemical addictions, substance abuse, and/or mental health counseling.
• OR Bachelor’s Degree in a non-social science + 3 years of professional experience in chemical addictions, substance abuse, and/or mental health counseling.

Responsibilities

• Complete and maintain all required clinical documentation per policy and counselor handbook.
• Facilitate Phase I, II, and III groups per program manuals and policy.
• Complete case management for each client as necessary.
• Attend staff meetings and scheduled Phase III clinicals.
• Be available for emergency counseling while on shift and work all shifts as contracted.
• Pursue CAP certification and/or courses to maintain certification annually.
