Job summary

The Courville at Manchester is seeking an experienced Chef to join our dedicated staff in Manchester, NH. This full-time role includes day shifts (5:00a - 1:00p) and an optional second shift (11:30a - 7p), with every other weekend commitment.

You will serve residents with a high level of care and contribute to special events. The ideal candidate has a passion for food service, positive attitude, and strong customer service skills.

Qualifications

• Able to read, write, speak and understand the English language.
• Must not pose a direct threat to the health or safety of others in the workplace.
• Must be able to move intermittently throughout the day.
• 5 years cooking experience, preferred; Training available!

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean and safe kitchen area, including all supplies and equipment.
• Adhere to the work schedule and assist other kitchen staff with meal prep.
• Serve residents and guests in a friendly, timely and courteous manner.
• Assist with dining room cleanup after meal service and prep for next shift.
• Support special events within the facility and prepare special orders.

Job Description:

• Maintain in a clean and safe manner, including all supplies and equipment a

• Assist other members of the kitchen staff with meal preparation
• Serve our residents and their guests in a friendly, timely and courteous manner
• Assist in cleaning the dining rooms following meal service
• Prep materials for the next shift
• Assist with special events within the facility
• Prepare special orders from residents and their guests
