Job summary

LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a well-established law firm in Florida to hire a Florida Registered Paralegal for a busy construction litigation practice. The ideal candidate has 5+ years of complex litigation experience and strong trial support capabilities.

Responsibilities include managing cases through all phases, preparing exhibits, coordinating trial logistics, drafting documents, and supporting e-discovery. FRP preferred with a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• FRP preferred.
• 5+ years of complex litigation experience, preferably in construction litigation.
• Significant trial preparation and courtroom support experience.
• Strong knowledge of state and federal court procedures, e-filing, docketing, and discovery rules.
• Experience with Relativity, CaseMap, LiveNote, Trial Director, or similar litigation support software preferred.
• Associate's Degree, Bachelor's Degree, or Paralegal Certificate required.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and multitasking skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to work overtime and travel as needed for trial support.

Responsibilities

• Manage cases through all phases of litigation, including trial preparation and trial support.
• Prepare and organize exhibits, deposition binders, witness materials, trial notebooks, and court filings.
• Coordinate trial logistics, including war room setup and management.
• Attend and assist with depositions, hearings, arbitrations, mediations, and trials.
• Draft legal correspondence, subpoenas, summonses, memoranda, and other litigation documents.
• Conduct factual and legal research and assist with investigative efforts.
• Support e-discovery projects and document management initiatives.
• Manage court deadlines, docketing, and state and federal e-filings.
• Collaborate with attorneys, litigation support teams, and outside vendors to ensure seamless case management.
