Morris Heating & Cooling is seeking a Commercial HVAC/R Service Technician to troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair advanced commercial HVAC and refrigeration systems. The role focuses on independent field work and not entry-level tasks, with responsibilities including service of rooftops, air handlers, walk-ins, freezers, and ice machines.

Applicants should have 3+ years of commercial HVAC/R experience, strong electrical and mechanical skills, and the ability to work independently.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of commercial HVAC/R service experience.
• Experience with walk-in coolers, freezers, and ice machines.
• Ability to diagnose and repair commercial HVAC/R equipment.
• Strong electrical, mechanical, and refrigeration troubleshooting skills.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.
• Ability to participate in the on-call rotation.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair commercial HVAC/R systems.
• Service rooftop units, air handlers, walk-in coolers, freezers, and ice machines.
• Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and refrigeration issues.
• Perform preventive maintenance and inspections.
• Read wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical manuals.
• Independently run commercial service calls.
• Participate in the on-call rotation.
