Job summary

Markent Personnel seeks an experienced CNC Programmer within a precision manufacturing setting. You will collaborate with engineering to optimize tooling, program CNC machines using Mastercam, and ensure quality through accurate setups and inspections.

You’ll build and maintain tooling libraries and mentor fellow machinists. The role covers design interpretation from blueprints, CAM integration, and continuous improvement in a fast-paced foundry tooling environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 5+ years of advanced manufacturing experience.
• 3 years of verifiable CAM programming experience.
• Associate’s degree or certification in CNC machining preferred.
• 5+ years of advanced manufacturing experience with 3+ years CAM experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with engineers and CAD technicians to improve tooling designs and processes.
• Use CNC software to generate G-code for machining operations.
• Set up and calibrate CNC machines for production runs.
• Operate CNC machinery to produce precision components.
• Perform in-process inspections using calipers and micrometers.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• Mentor tooling center machinists and share knowledge.
