Dauch seeks a CNC Programmer and Machinist with at least five years of CNC machining and programming experience. The candidate must be able to work a flexible schedule including first and second shift.

The role involves programming, setting up, and operating a small cell of 2-3 CNC machines, reading blueprints, and performing first-piece inspections in the QC lab. Strong tool knowledge and process oversight are essential for timely, quality parts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 5 years documented experience in CNC machining.
• Proficient with CNC setup and operation.
• Proficient with conversational CNC programming (lathe focus) Mazatrol/IGF and/or MasterCAM (milling focus).
• Experience reading blueprints and applying GD&T.
• Tolerance experience ±0.001".

Responsibilities

• Program, set up, and operate a cell with 2-3 CNC machines.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings/blueprints.
• Process from start to finish including tooling selection and sequencing.
• Perform first-piece inspections in QC lab.
• Adjust programs and offsets as needed.
• Perform spot checks before finishing pieces.
• Troubleshoot cutting tool failures and run tool trials.
• Communicate issues to management.
• Work safely to produce quality parts on time.
