Job summary

CMI Group in Phoenix, AZ is seeking experienced CNC Machinists for aerospace and defense manufacturing. You will operate CNC machines, set up tooling, load programs, and inspect parts to GD&T standards in a team environment.

Day or Night shifts are available with 20% night differential pay. U.S. citizenship or permanent resident status is required. This full-time role offers competitive wages and benefits with a safety-driven workplace.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of experience running CNC lathes or CNC mills.
• Clear understanding of G & M codes for Fanuc programming.
• Solid GD&T knowledge and industry inspection standards.
• Ability to stand for long periods and work in a team.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC machines without supervision on proven production jobs.
• Set up tooling, load programs, and verify operation and revision accuracy.
• Perform daily machine maintenance and keep workspace clean and organized.
• Read drawings and GD&T, and manage tool wear offsets as needed.
• Record inspection data and verify machined dimensions with proper gauges.
• Report machine issues promptly and follow safety protocols.
