Qualifications
- Understanding drawings, dimensions, tolerances, and standard nomenclature
- Ability to use basic inspection and measuring equipment to verify dimensions
- Basic knowledge of CNC code and machine maintenance requirements
- Experience with tool offsets, tool changes, and setup procedures
- Ability to identify and ensure traceability of parts and containers
Responsibilities
- Load material/parts into CNC machines and run programs
- Perform daily machine maintenance and clean chips
- Conduct in-process inspection of parts
- Make minor program changes such as tool offsets
- Replace worn or damaged tooling (inserts, end mills, drills)
- Sign-off paperwork (MOT, Inspection Traveler) and maintain traceability
- Handle parts properly and maintain correct labeling/containers
