Job summary

IncrediCare, a Northern Virginia home care agency focused on memory care, is seeking experienced CNAs for weekend shifts in Fairfax and McLean. If you want to supplement income with reliable Saturday and Sunday hours while making a meaningful difference, we want to meet you.

Candidates should have memory care experience, hold a CNA license, and CPR certification. Responsibilities include personal care, mobility assistance, light housekeeping, meal prep, and coordinating with nurses and families.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years CNA experience with at least one year in memory care
• Current CPR certification (American Heart Association)
• Willingness to adhere to health and safety standards, including CDC COVID-19 guidelines
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities

• Engage in activities to stimulate the mind and spirit
• Assist with ambulation and mobility in and around the home
• Assist with personal care and hygiene
• Assist with prescribed exercises and physical therapy
• Complete shopping or accompany clients as needed
• Light housekeeping and meal preparation
• Collect information from caregivers, nurses, doctors and family
• Report unusual incidents to medical staff and family
• Act quickly and responsibly in emergencies
• Clean and disinfect frequently touched areas and change bed sheets

• Help with completingphysical therapy and other recommended exercise
• Complete shopping or accompany clients when needed
• Perform light housekeeping duties that clientscan’t complete on their own, including preparing meals
• Collect information about conditions and treatment plans from caregivers, nurses, doctors and family members
• Report any unusual incidents to nurses, doctors and family members
• Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency
• Clean and disinfect frequently touched areas, including changing bed sheets

Requirements:

• Minimum Two Years CNA experience with at least One Year in a Memory Care Unit.
• Current CPR (American Heart Association) Certification
• Willingness to adhere to health and safety standards, including those outlined by the CDC in relation to COVID-19
• Knowledge of housekeeping activities and cooking with attention to dietary constraints
• Must be respectful and compassionate with a good bedside manner
• Outstanding communication, time management and interpersonal skills
• Physical endurance to complete required tasks
• Access to reliable transportation and a valid driver's license
• High school diploma or equivalent
