Job summary

Always Best Care of Fairfax is seeking a compassionate CNA or PCA to provide in-home daily support for a veteran in Fairfax County, VA. The role covers morning wake-up routines and evening bedtime care, ensuring safety, comfort, and independence with mobility challenges after surgery.

The caregiver will assist with ADLs, mobility transfers, light meals, hydration, companionship, and transportation to medical appointments as needed. Part-time weekend split shifts with competitive pay are offered.

Qualifications

• Active Virginia CNA license or certification preferred, or experienced PCA with caregiving experience.

We are currently seeking a compassionate and dependable Service-Oriented CNA or PCA to provide daily in-home support to a veteran living independently in Fairfax County. Position Overview
We are seeking a reliable, professional, and service-oriented CNA or PCA to assist a veteran client who lives alone and experiences severe mobility challenges. The client has extremely limited control of one leg following a surgery several years ago and requires hands-on assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs), mobility support, and routine personal care.

The care professional will provide support during the client's morning wake-up routine and evening bedtime routine, ensuring his safety, comfort, and independence while helping him maintain the highest possible quality of life. Occasional transportation assistance to medical appointments and community outings may also be required.

Qualifications

• Active Virginia CNA license or certification preferred, or experiencedPCA with demonstrated caregiving experience
• Experience supporting clients with mobility impairments, physical disabilities, or rehabilitation needs preferred
• Strong transfer and mobility assistance skills
• Compassionate, dependable, patient, and professional demeanor
• Physical ability to safely assist with mobility-related tasks
• Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle
• Clean driving record
• Male caregiver preferred based on client preference and care needs
