Job summary

Assisting Hands Home Care - Manassas is seeking Virginia-certified PCAs, HHAs, and CNAs to provide memory-care support for clients living with dementia in Manassas, Gainesville, Centreville and surrounding areas.

Join our team for morning, evening, overnight and weekend shifts with competitive hourly pay, same-day pay options, and voluntary health benefits. You will assist with bathing, dressing, meals, medication reminders and safe mobility.

Qualifications

• Active PCA, HHA, or CNA license in Virginia is required.
• Experience supporting clients with dementia or Alzheimer’s is essential.
• Current CPR certification and ability to pass a background check.
• Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and automobile insurance required.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient-centered care, with patience and empathy during visits.
• Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, and safe mobility.
• Prepare meals and maintain a calm, structured home environment.
• Assist with medication reminders and evening routines.
• Engage clients in memory activities and meaningful conversation.

What we need from you:

• Active PCA, HHA, or CNA license in the State of Virginia
• Demonstrated experience working with dementia and/or Alzheimer’s clients
• Current CPR certification and negative TB test
• Must pass a background check (per Virginia HCO barrier crime standards)
• Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and insurance
• Able to lift 25 lbs. and assist clients safely
