Job summary

Robesonia Logistics LLC in Robesonia, PA is seeking a Professional Driver to train with a PDT and safely transport goods per DOT rules. You will deliver to customers, load/unload, and maintain equipment per company standards.

Starting at $30/hr with OT after 40 hours, this role includes a $5,000 safety sign-on payout after 180 days, a referral program, medical after 90 days, and shoe reimbursement. Shifts run midnight–1am, five days/week, including Sundays.

Qualifications

• DOT certification required to operate commercial vehicles.
• Class A CDL with clean driving record preferred.
• Must be at least 21 years old and able to pass DOT medical exam.

Responsibilities

• Operate a CMV safely on a multi-stop delivery route.
• Load and unload ambient or temperature sensitive product (3–10 stops/day).
• Inspect equipment and maintain regulatory compliance.
• Support other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Position Overview

C&S Wholesale Grocers desires to create the most safe, efficient, and service forward fleet in the country. As a Professional Driver with C&S Wholesale Grocers, you will start your driving career with the company by working with a Professional Driver Trainer (PDT) who will provide coaching and insight on the C&S Way which includes company and regulatory requirements. Once you have successfully completed our new hire training program, you will maintain a high level of customer satisfaction through deliveries of product and services while performing all other assigned duties. All functions must be completed in a safe and timely manner and in accordance with the Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations.

Job Description

Pay Rate: $30/hr (OT after 40) (ave over $2000/week!)

Start times @ midnight to 1 am, Monday-Saturday operation, work 5 of those days; off one additional day, including Sunday

Description

• Utilizing the specialized skills developed with experience and the C&S Professional Driver Training Program, you will operate a Commercial Motor Vehicle (semi-truck/eighteen-wheeler/box truck, etc…), applying knowledge of training and commercial driving regulations, to transport and safely deliver product
• Driver will load and unload (ambient or temperature sensitive) product to customers on an average of 3-10 stops per day
• Driver will inspect, document and ensure equipment is operable in compliance with all regulatory and company requirements
• Inspect equipment in accordance with regulatory requirements
• All other duties as assigned

• 1-2 : Recent tractor-trailer experience.
