Cleaning & Restoration Technician Job Summary

Assist in retaining customers by fulfilling the company’s obligations through the timely and effective delivery of cleaning and restoration services.

Cleaning & Restoration Technician Responsibilities

This position will be primarily for cleaning (carpet, tile, upholstery, etc.); however, over time, you will be expected to effectively perform all cleaning and restoration services the company offers (such as water mitigation, mold, etc.).

Communicate effectively with customers.

Perform basic equipment maintenance.

Inspect completed work.

Complete the technician’s daily log.

Complete Work Orders.

Complete appropriate restoration documentation.

Maintain appearance and stock of appropriate tools, materials, and supplies for company vehicles.

Maintain inventory of related supplies.

Cleaning & Restoration Technician Qualifications

Education and Experience: High school diploma (or GED). You must have prior carpet cleaning experience and ideally your carpet cleaning certification (CCT).

Mathematical Skills: Adequate math skills. Ability to apply learned techniques to determine appropriate equipment type and number of units.

Computer Skills: Demonstrates basic proficiency in the use of computers, email, and portable devices used to report and record daily activity.

Certificates, Licenses, and Registrations: Certification in performing appropriate services: Water Mitigation, Carpet Cleaning, Mold, etc.

Location: You MUST live within a 30-minute drive to Boyertown, PA.

Hourly pay is based on years of experience and certifications.

In addition to hourly pay, technicians will also make a commission.
