SW Funk Industrial is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Carpenter Foreman to join our team in Newport News, VA. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leading carpentry crews and delivering high-quality results.

Responsibilities:

1. Oversee and coordinate daily activities of carpentry crews
2. Ensure adherence to project schedules, budgets, and safety regulations
3. Interpret drawings and specifications
4. Order materials and supplies
5. Lead, train, and mentor a team of carpenters, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and quality standards
6. Inspect completed work for quality and accuracy
7. Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other trades to coordinate work activities and resolve issues
8. Communicate effectively with clients

Qualifications:

1. Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Carpenter Foreman
2. Extensive knowledge of carpentry techniques, tools, and materials
3. Strong leadership and communication skills
4. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and drawings
5. Proficiency in using hand and power tools
6. Experience with interior finishes, masonry, concrete, and other carpentry skills
