Qualifications

• Ten years of verifiable carpentry experience in new construction.
• Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Study specifications from blueprints or plans to determine layout and materials.
• Shape or cut materials using hand tools, machines, or power saws.
• Follow safety rules and maintain a clean work environment.
• Measure and mark cutting lines with ruler and chalk.
• Install structures or fixtures using carpenters' tools.
• Verify trueness of structure using plumb bob and level.
• Assemble and fasten materials to form frameworks.
• Repair or replace damaged parts as needed.
• Inspect woodwork and prepare surfaces for finishing.
• Operate basic construction equipment as needed.
• Extra duties as assigned.
