Evergreen Construction Services in Barrington and Milton, NH, is seeking an experienced carpenter to join our growing team. This role focuses on residential carpentry, including framing, finish work, additions, restoration, and repairs, with projects across Southern New Hampshire and Southern Maine.

You will work independently or with a crew, maintain safety and quality, and contribute wherever needed. A strong work ethic, attention to detail, and good communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of residential carpentry experience.
• Experience with framing, remodeling, finish carpentry, additions, restoration, or repair work.
• Ability to complete assigned carpentry tasks independently.
• Strong attention to detail and pride in quality work.
• Willingness to follow company processes and standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform residential carpentry work, including framing, finish carpentry, remodeling, additions, restoration, and repairs.
• Complete assigned work accurately and efficiently with limited supervision.
• Assist with demolition, project preparation, material handling, installation, and cleanup.
• Install doors, windows, trim, siding, decking, cabinetry, and other residential components.
• Identify job-site challenges and communicate concerns to the Lead Carpenter or Project Manager.
• Maintain a clean, organized, safe, and professional work area.
• Operate hand and power tools safely and responsibly.
• Communicate respectfully with clients, coworkers, subcontractors, and company leadership.
• Assist less experienced team members when appropriate.
• Represent Evergreen Construction Services professionally while working in clients' homes.

Experienced Carpenter

Evergreen Construction Services is looking for an experienced carpenter to join our growing team. This position is ideal for a skilled tradesperson with residential carpentry experience who takes pride in quality work but may not be interested in managing employees or leading an entire job site.

The right candidate will be dependable, detail-oriented, coachable, and comfortable working independently or as part of a crew. You should be willing to contribute wherever needed while maintaining a clean, safe, and professional work environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Dependable attendance and a strong work ethic
• Positive attitude and willingness to follow company processes and standards
• Strong communication, time-management, and organizational skills
• Comfortable working indoors, outdoors, during all seasons, and at heights
• Willing to assist with demolition, materials, cleanup, and other project-support responsibilities
• Must be able to reliably report to job sites throughout Southern New Hampshire and Southern Maine
• Valid driver\'s license and reliable vehicle required
• Personal hand tools preferred; company tools and equipment are available as needed
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds, climb ladders, operate hand and power tools, and perform physical work throughout the day

Pay and Benefits

• Full-time, W-2 employment
• Pay: $25.00-$45.00 per hour, depending on experience and carpentry skill level
