Job summary

Comfort Keepers is seeking compassionate caregivers to support seniors in Huntington Beach and surrounding areas. The role emphasizes building trusted relationships and assisting with daily activities, mobility, and personal care in the home.

We offer flexible schedules, paid training, and ongoing mentoring, with shifts available part-time or full-time. Applicants must have a valid driver’s license, vehicle, and meet background screening requirements.

Qualifications

• HCA Registered or equivalent.
• Valid Driver's License and automobile insurance.
• Minimum high school diploma or GED required.
• Submit to Criminal Background Investigation, Motor Vehicle Driving Record.
• Submit to Pre-Employment Drug Screening.
• Caregiving Experience.
• Willingness to Learn.

Responsibilities

• Establish open communication and develop friendly relationships with seniors and their families.
• Help seniors with daily tasks such as preparing meals, light housekeeping, organization, drive and accompany to appointments.
• Assist with showers, bathing, dressing, and toileting, peri-care.
• Assist with transfers.
• Encourage activity and movement.
• Inspire a positive, can-do attitude in daily tasks, appointments, and hobbies.
• Document progress using cell phone technology.
• Maintain a trusting and comforting home environment.
