Job summary

Comfort Keepers group in Huntington Beach, CA seeks caring caregivers for Monday-Sunday shifts 4p-9p. Earn from $20/hour with paid training, mileage reimbursement, and flexible scheduling. In-person, local opportunities offer meaningful work close to home.

Responsibilities include assisting seniors with daily tasks, mobility, meals, and transportation, while documenting care and building trusting relationships with families. Prior experience preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• HCA Registration required or preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and automobile insurance.
• Minimum high school diploma or GED.
• Criminal background check required.
• Pre-employment drug screening required.
• Caregiving experience preferred.
• Willingness to learn new skills.
• Part-time availability preferred.

Responsibilities

• Establish open communication and develop friendly relationships with seniors and their families.
• Assist with daily activities such as meals, light housekeeping, and transportation to appointments.
• Assist with showers, bathing, dressing, and toileting.
• Help with transfers and mobility as needed.
• Encourage activity and movement and maintain a positive attitude.
• Document care using cell phone technology.
• Maintain a trusting and comforting home environment.
