Job summary

Right at Home is hiring care providers to support seniors in maintaining independence at home. Responsibilities include personal care, companionship, meal preparation, medication reminders, and transportation to appointments.

A valid driver’s license, vehicle insurance, and ability to pass a background check are required; TB testing may be requested. We offer orientation and ongoing training, a positive work environment, and opportunities for leadership and advancement within a team that values

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age.
• Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English as needed for the job.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and current automobile insurance.
• Must have the ability to pass a full employment background check.
• HCA Registration (We can assist at offer of employment).
• TB Skin test (can accept completed TB test not older than 90 days).

Responsibilities

• Performs personal care activities of daily living.
• Assist with Dressing/Grooming
• Ambulation/Transfers (be able to lift 50 lbs)
• Prepares meals and snacks according to instructions
• Accompany patient on errands or medical appointments
• Performs light housekeeping activities
• Medication reminders
• Care of bed-bound clients
• Use lifting equipment such as Gait Belts, Slide Boards and Hoyer Lifts
• Provide Companionship

A homecare aide provides for the maintenance of a safe and clean environment. A homemaker/companion provide non-medical home care which include: bathing, dressing, meal preparation, medication reminder, companionship, transportation to client's doctor appointment, errands, and light housekeeping and so much more!

We are hiring care providers who have ALL the skills and experience with:

Dementia, Hospice, Incontinence, Transfers-Hoyer, Gait, Slide Board.

The career requires your own vehicle to transport clients, valid Driver's License and vehicle insurance.

Our shift needs are all days of the week from Monday to Sunday: AM/PM and short shifts (3-5 hours)
