The ideal candidate has professional cake decorating experience in a busy bakery, strong buttercream and fondant skills, sharp attention to detail, and the ability to recreate designs from photos and customer specs while maintaining speed and quality during peak

Qualifications

• Has professional cake decorating experience in a busy bakery or similar production environment.
• Has strong buttercream skills, including smooth finishes, piping, borders, textures, and decorative techniques.
• Is comfortable working with fondant, including covering cakes and creating decorative elements.
• Has a strong eye for detail, proportion, color, and overall design.
• Can accurately recreate designs and follow inspiration photos and customer specifications.
• Takes direction well and is open to feedback.
• Strives for consistency and perfection and takes pride in the finished product.
• Works efficiently while maintaining high quality, even during busy production periods.
• Is dependable, organized, and able to meet deadlines.
• Works well as part of a collaborative team.

Splurge Bakery is looking for an experienced, talented Cake Decorator to join our creative team. We are a busy custom bakery known for beautiful cakes, cookies, and desserts, and we are looking for someone who takes pride in producing polished, high-quality work.

• Has professional cake decorating experience in a busy bakery or similar production environment


• Has strong buttercream skills, including smooth finishes, piping, borders, textures, and decorative techniques
