Job summary

Kimley-Horn in Phoenix, AZ is seeking an Experienced CAD Operator to join our Land Development team. You will design and produce sets of plans for commercial, industrial, institutional and residential projects, implementing and maintaining AutoCAD drafting standards.

The role involves developing technical drawings, performing quality checks on complex drawings, and possibly supervising CAD staff. Strong communication, detail orientation, and the ability to work both independently and with a team

Qualifications

• 3+ years of relevant experience.
• Advanced knowledge of Autodesk or Bentley products.
• Detail oriented with strong communication and teamwork.
• Self-starter with willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Design and produce sets of plans for land development projects; implement drafting standards.
• Develop technical drawings using CAD software.
• Quality check drawings and perform complex calculations.
• Supervise and train CAD staff; coordinate schedules and ensure quality.
