Job summary

Gainwell Technologies, an industry leader in health IT, is seeking an Experienced Business Analyst for AI Driven Delivery. You will help harness technology to improve client outcomes and drive healthcare solutions with a focus on governance and measurable impact.

In this role you will own AI-generated requirements, coordinate a BA team, and collaborate with clients, PMs, and technical staff to define, document and share business requirements from project kickoff through delivery.

Qualifications

• 9+ years in a relevant Business Analyst role, Medicaid/Medicare experience preferred.
• Experience in AI-enabled requirements engineering with governance and traceability.
• Knowledge of programming concepts such as configuration, development and batch processing.
• Advanced Excel/SQL and ALM tools for requirements mapping.

Responsibilities

• Own governance and validation of AI-generated requirements in Gherkin, ensuring alignment with business rules.
• Coordinate a BA team’s duties on IT projects and mentor junior members.
• Bridge between clients, project managers and technical staff to define, document and share business requirements.
• Work with the client to develop business specs at the start of a technical project.
• Analyze and redesign processes to support clients’ technology goals.
• Verify requirements by approving test results.
• Use Excel and SQL to quantify the impact of work.

Your role in our mission

Play a critical part in ensuring Gainwell is meeting our clients’ objectives in important areas.

• Own the governance and validation of AI-generated requirements in Gherkin format, including alignment with business rules and data mappings, and ensure AI-driven test validation and traceability through structured SME review to prevent downstream impact on system design, testing, and operations.
• Help coordinate a business analyst team’s duties and activities on IT projects and nurture newer team members by providing guidance and support
• Be a knowledgeable bridge between clients, project managers and technical staff to define, document and share business requirements and expected impact
• Work with the client to develop business specs at the start of a technical project
• Analyze, plan, design, document or make recommendations to improve business processes to support client’s technology goals
• Help verify that all requirements have been met by approving and validating test results
• Exercise your ability to use basic analytical and relational database software — such as Excel andSQL — to quantify the anticipated impact of work

What we're looking for

• 9 or more years of experience in a relevant Business Analyst position with 3 or more years of Medicaid and Medicare experience preferred
• Experience in AI-enabled requirements engineering, ensuring outputs are validated, governed, and fully traceable across business rules, data, and the end-to-end delivery lifecycle.
• Knowledge of computer programming concepts such as configuration, development and batch processing
• Advanced knowledge in analytical software such as Microsoft Excel or SQL and other requirement-mapping tools including Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) tools
• Strong client communication skills translating client needs to actionable objectives
• Strong analytical and business process re-engineering skills
• Strong executive presence and communication skills to deliver messages to business leaders, clients and technical personnel
• A leader who motivates others to action and communicates key technical ideas in a digestible way
• Experience working in Scrum, Agile, SAFe & Waterfall methodologies

The pay range for this position is$86,800.00-$124,000.00 per year, however, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. Put your passion to work at Gainwell.
