Job summary

Shafer Contracting Co. is seeking a licensed CDL driver to join our field operations. This role requires a valid Class A or B CDL and current DOT Health Card, with preferred construction driving experience.

Travel across the State of Minnesota is expected, and candidates must be able to work long hours, including nights and weekends as required. You must be comfortable outdoors in all weather and able to navigate uneven surfaces and ladders with safety in mind.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License.
• Construction driving experience preferred.
• Must have a current DOT Health Card.
• Willing to travel throughout Minnesota as part of the role.
• Ability to work long hours, including nights and weekends as required.
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions and navigate uneven surfaces.
• Ability to walk on uneven surfaces, crouch, kneel, climb ladders and steps.
• Ability to multitask and manage time effectively.
