Brilliant Financial Staffing has been engaged in a search for a Bookkeeper for our client located in Bartlett, IL. This newly created position offers ownership of day-to-day accounting in a high-volume environment.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of full-charge bookkeeping experience with strong QuickBooks Online skills, and the ability to work independently onsite in Bartlett, IL. The role covers AP, AR, reconciliations, payroll, inventory accounting, and foreign currency transactions.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of full-charge bookkeeping experience.
• Strong QuickBooks Online experience.
• Ability to work independently in a high-volume environment.
• Experience with AP, AR, reconciliations, payroll reconciliation, inventory accounting, and foreign currency transactions.

Responsibilities

• Record daily financial transactions (bills, invoices, receipts, expenses).
• Manage Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable.
• Complete monthly bank and credit card reconciliations.
• Reconcile automated credit card payments through the bank.
• Reconcile prepaid expenses and related invoices.
• Track vendor back orders through inventory and orders.
• Process and record foreign currency transactions (e.g., Euros).
• Handle exchange rate fluctuations impacting payables.
• Approve employee timecards.
• Reconcile payroll after processing.
• Assist with month-end close and financial reporting.
• Maintain accurate general ledger records.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement after learning procedures.
