Experienced Bookkeeper

Alloy Silverstein, a regional public accounting firm located in Cherry Hill, NJ, is seeking an experienced Bookkeeper to perform a variety of accounting, bookkeeping, clerical, and financial tasks for clients in various industries. Bookkeeper responsibilities include keeping financial records updated, preparing reports and reconciling G/L accounts. You will also run accounting software programs (QuickBooks and/or Xero) to process business transactions, such as accounts payable and receivable, and disbursements.

This open position is currently for an in-office, in-person role at our Cherry Hill, NJ office location.

Requirements

• Proven accounting experience, preferably as an Accounts receivable clerk or Accounts payable clerk
• Familiarity with bookkeeping and basic accounting procedures
• Competency in MS Office, databases and accounting software
• Proficiency in QuickBooks and/or Xero; Minimum 2-3 years experience
• Hands‑on experience with spreadsheets and financial reports
• Accuracy and attention to detail
• Aptitude for numbers
• Ability to perform filing and record‑keeping tasks
• Well organized
• 2-5 years of accounting/bookkeeping experience preferred

Salary Range

Starting at $45,000-$50,000.
